Dear Calgary Flames,

I'm sorry. I really, truly am. I totally, wholeheartedly apologize for not watching Game 2 last night. It's really not my fault. I bought that concert ticket at least a month before the playoff schedule was out. I bought it even before I knew for sure you were IN the playoffs (not that I ever doubted even for a nanosecond that you'd make it). But I take complete responsibility for the terrible loss last night. I'm so, so sorry. It won't happen again, I swear. No more fun on game nights for me until after you win the Cup. Please believe that I am really, really sorry. Please rest assured that I am am suffering too. My ear has spontaneously swollen up and it hurts quite a bit. I'm pretty sure it's punishment for making you lose last night. So I have a vested interest in making sure I don't miss any more games, because who knows what might happen the next time.

I'm sorry again, and good luck with the rest of your playoff run. I'm rooting for you and I'll be watching every second of the rest of the games. My supervisor won't understand, but hey, I'm willing to make that sacrifice.

Sincerely,
Probably the only girl in TO who has a Calgary Flames playlist on her iPod,
Stephanie
