So, is it possible for three people, two dogs, a u-haul, and a car make it across the country without major incident? Apparently not. The u-haul stalled when we stopped at a stop sign. And then stalled again. And again. And again. Soooo sketchy. So we are currently stuck in Swift Current, Saskatchewan until tomorrow morning at least. Just let me say that Swift Current is in top contention for most despised city (town???) ever, right up there with Revelstoke. Yep, so supposedly u-haul is going to come look at the truck tomorrow. At least u-haul is paying for the hotel and half our meals. That's good. Of course, this is their fault anyway. Sketchy trucks from some US state with Arizona plates at the Airdrie u-haul place. Maybe this was doomed from the start... At least I'll have a lame anecdote to tell my kids about cross-country do-it-yourself moving. The moral of this anecdote will be "never ever drive across the country in a u-haul... just don't".

So, the u-haul is loaded. Correction. MY stuff is loaded in the u-haul. Cara is still packing. She has until 4 tomorrow. Can she do it? Only time will tell...

Ticketmaster is ass. I went to pick up my FRANZ FERDINAND and METRIC tickets, and girly is all like "there's nothing listed for this card". WTF? There damn well should be. So now I have to go back AGAIN (for the 3rd time in 3 days) tomorrow with confirmation #s. Sigh. I'd hate the girl who helped me, but it's really not her fault (plus she likes the same music as me, so there's a bond there). But seriously, what is going on? I want my tickets! Like yesterday!

Tour dates for Broken Social Scene are up. Guess what city isn't on the list? TORONTO! OMG this is sooooo unfair. I really hope that the do a TO show. Why are they going to Kingston instead of TO? It really doesn't make any sense to me.

All in all, it's been a hot, sweaty, achy kind of day with the added bonus of EXTREME bad luck in the entertainment scene. Lame-o!

Oh my goodness gracious! Michelle, if I ever win the lottery, I know what to get you for your birthday. Crazy!

In other news, it's almost moving day. Tomorrow, we get the U-haul, and then the fun starts. Yeah, lugging stuff up the stairs'll be SO much fun!

It's kinda crazy to think that this is the last night I'll sleep in my room here. Scary stuff. Maybe I'll sleep on the floor tomorrow night...

What am I doing? I can't move to Toronto! I can't go to grad school! I'm not ready!! I don't wanna. Can't I just stay in the bubble forever. The bubble when all my income is disposable, and there're no rent or utility bills. Please?

Sigh. My room looks so pathetic with all my stuff packed up. I sure hope everything fits in the truck...
