Woo woo! Guess what Stephanie got today?!?! Her POWERBOOK!!! Yes indeedie folks, I'm now a Mac owner. I have to say, my powerbook is soooooo pretty (in spite of the minor scratches on it). And it came with an extra battery! Yay! Double the battery life, double the fun. Now I need to get Office X and a case and I'm so set!

Ah. One week down, 12 to go. Is it a bad thing that I'm already counting down the weeks???... This IS after all, my 16th straight year of school. It makes it seem much worse put that way... Oy. 6 and a half more to go. But I like school... I think... I'm just sleepy. Too many late nights at school.

I went to see a really good movie. It's called Big Fish. It was fabulous, happy, sad, and touching all at once. I definitely recommend it. It's probably the last fun I'll have this semester... No, that can't be! It's too tragic! There has to be more fun, there has to!

On the plus side, I'm getting really good at thinking about nothing. I find it very easy to empty my brain lately and stare vacantly at any number of things. Or maybe this isn't a good thing. Who knows. It's kind of cool though. Or maybe I am thinking of stuff but I don't know it.

Another weird thing: Consciousness. Are you conscious? Can you prove it? Do you exist? Can you prove it? Just some of the many scintillating questions we answered in class on Thursday. Sheesh. I think I really am tired. I should go away from the computer. I'll be spending way to much time on it in the 12 weeks to come.
