So, it's been awhile. Not much to say. School is back in. My classes are dull and irrelevant. Thursdays are veeeeeery long and my absolute least favorite day of the week (except TV wise... lol!). The thesis is coming along research wise. I've started my 4th experiment. Hopefully it will turn out well. Please... I haven't started writing anything yet, which is not good, but maybe after I finish my 431 group paper. Right... And where will the good intentions get me? Likely nowhere, but whatever. I've entered the "waiting" phase of grad school applications, the part where you think you'll DIE before you hear anything. I did have one phone interview already (which went well I think...) and now I want to hear from MORE schools. *sigh*

I've run across some interesting and/or stupid people lately. The most *ahem* colourful was this guy on the bus recently. He was quite a sight. I'm not sure which part of his ensemble was the best, whether it was his hot pink tie dyed shirt with pink/black striped sleeves and hood (a la Where's Waldo) or his black platform shoes with the fuzzy leopard print tops. I just don't know! And my idiot of the week award goes to girl on train. I overheard her talking to her friend:
girl: man, I have such a bad headache
friend: that's not good
girl: i think i know why
friend: why?
girl: i took 2 birth control pills at the same time yesterday
friend: you're not supposed to do that [steph's note: duh]
girl: well, i forgot one and had to take it sometime
And university kids are supposed to be smart... right...

Well, that's all I have to share right now, so goodbye. And remember, if you're dumb enough to forget to take your meds on time, don't be dumber and double up, I mean, hello! "Yeah, I forgot to take my (insert drug of choice here) last night so I'm gonna double up tonight. When you find my dead body in the morning, make sure to pick out a nice casket for me." Aren't trains fun!
